These Terms govern your access to and use of the StrokeGuard mobile application and website [https://strokeguard.app] (“Services”), operated by [Legal Entity] in Surabaya, Indonesia (“StrokeGuard”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Eligibility

    You must be 13+ to use StrokeGuard. If you use StrokeGuard through a hospital program, you confirm you are authorized (or have guardian consent where required).

  2. Accounts & Onboarding

    You may sign in with Apple/Google. During onboarding, we may ask for basic profile and health context to personalize your plan.

    You are responsible for the accuracy of information and safeguarding your credentials.

    If your account is provisioned by a hospital, they may assign your clinician and manage enrollment.

  3. Services & Features

    StrokeGuard provides post-stroke follow-up tools: daily check-ins (BP, meds, rehab, symptoms), reminders, AI-generated decision-support (Pretest Probability, Top Contributors, Diagnostic Support Note), and a clinician dashboard for monitoring and actions (e.g., fast-track visit, request BP logs). Some features may require a paid plan or a hospital license.

    Medical disclaimer: StrokeGuard is clinical decision support (CDS), not a diagnostic device. Content is for informational purposes only. In emergencies (e.g., FAST signs), call local emergency services or go to the ER.

  4. Subscriptions & Payment

    StrokeGuard may be offered:

    Through hospitals (license or care program): billing managed with the hospital under a separate agreement; these Terms still apply to end-users.

    Direct-to-consumer (if offered): monthly/yearly auto-renewing subscriptions via [Apple/Google/RevenueCat]; prices vary by region and may change.

    Auto-renewal & cancellation: Managed in your app store settings; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

    Refunds: Subject to store/provider policies; we generally do not provide refunds for partial periods.

  5. User Content & License

    You may upload or enter data (e.g., BP readings, notes). You retain ownership of your content. You grant StrokeGuard a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content only to provide the Services and comply with law. For hospital deployments, your hospital and assigned clinicians may access your data subject to healthcare confidentiality obligations.

  6. Privacy

    Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data. By using StrokeGuard, you consent to those practices.

  7. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    Use the Services unlawfully or to harm others; submit false or misleading medical information

    Attempt to access others’ data or interfere with security

    Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services

    Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful

    We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

  8. Intellectual Property

    The Services (software, UI, content excluding your data) are owned by StrokeGuard and its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the apps solely for personal/clinical use in accordance with these Terms.

  9. Beta Features

    We may label features as beta or pilot; they are provided “as is” and may change, break, or be discontinued.

  10. Clinical & Regulatory Disclaimer

    StrokeGuard provides decision support and reporting. It does not replace professional clinical judgment and is not intended for time-critical life-support decisions. Clinicians remain responsible for diagnosis and treatment. We may sign additional agreements (e.g., data processing addendum or BAA where applicable) with hospitals.

  11. Termination

    You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or non-payment.

  12. Warranty Disclaimer

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  13. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STROKEGUARD AND ITS LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR IDR 10,000,000 IF NO SUCH PAYMENTS WERE MADE), WHICHEVER IS LOWER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.

  14. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold StrokeGuard harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

  15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in [Arbitration Institution / Courts of Surabaya], unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Consumers may have additional rights under local law.

  16. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms. We will post the updated effective date and, where required, notify you. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
